Weeks 25-27 4D Video Sonogram of Baby C:)

Week 25:

On July 12th, I went in for my 25 week appointment.
This was the appointment where they wanted to do another
anatomical scan to check his heart again, since he was in a
bad position last time.
I was so glad because he was in a great position and I got
to see so many neat pictures of what he possibly
looks like in the womb!

The one hour glucose test was this appointment as well. I think
I was there for almost 3 hours with all the stuff I had to do.
Thankfully, my glucose test came back great-whew!

This was also my first appointment without Jordan. So
I guess I got a little bored in the Dr's office waiting..
haha. I sent him some pics;)

Excited to see my precious baby!

Video #1 is from the beginning of the ultrasound.
She turned on the 4D so I could see his face, (where he
is definitely grimacing at one point!)
she had to "remove" the fluid so it might look a little
funny, but its really neat to see his fingers move and his
hand across his face:) He's waving, right?

Video #2:
Is of his heart and heart beat. Praise God everything
looked good-they got to see what they needed to, and he looks fine.
 147 bpm this time:

Video #3
This was at the end of the ultrasound. I love the
images we got of his face, he looks so sweet:)
I compared the still shot she printed for me of this
with Jordan's newborn baby picture, (shown below)

Here is the comparison picture:
Jordan's newborn pic is on top, and Conrad's picture is on the bottom.
They have some similarities for sure!

These are the still shots from the video:

This is a chart they do after they take all the measurements of the
head, stomach, femur, brain, etc. And it shows what percentile your baby
is in at that point, as well as where they are measuring (week wise).
Conrad over all at this appointment was measuring a week and a day early,
but his head (the BPD) was measuring 2 weeks early, haha.
The ultrasound tech said his head was definitely his "biggest feature" at this
point;) We were laughing about it.

He weighed 1.15 lbs.

After the Doctors appointment, I treated myself to a pedicure and some
WhichWhich for lunch;)
Taking a picture of my feet so I can compare it later in the pregnancy:

Jordan and I had a fun date night going to eat on 6th street at the food trucks:

yummy yummy coolhaus:
dirty mint ice cream with a gluten free cookie on top!

oh yea, it was yummilicious.

Week 26:
I went to my first birthing class this week. It wasn't a birthing class
done by the hospital, it was a Yoga Yoga class given for natural birth
techniques for the moms and dads. Jordan, however, had to work at the hospital
all day on call, so I ended up going by myself:(
I was the only one there without a partner, (sad day) so it was kind of funny.
But I learned a lot of great things, and tons of info to pass on to Jordan.

at the class:

The next day I traveled to Boerne to see my bestie Natalie
and her baby Penelope, who was born last summer and I still
hadn't met yet!! I was so glad to see them, and she is such a cutie!!

I also went out that way (to San Antonio) for my friend from the
school I taught at in Dickinson's baby shower...
it was in Bandera-talk about out in the country!
I passed this guy by on my way!!

Amber and I at the shower:
She's having a boy too-Sterling Christopher!

The next day, I wasn't feeling so well (too much in one weekend I think;)
So I worked in bed all day:/
I love my lap desk, lets me take my work anywhere!

Week 27:

Saw this on Tuesday morning (looks like its about to get REAL fun:)

Taylor and I had a much awaited date this week!!! I hadn't seen her in too long:)

We started at Mozarts for some coffee (yum yum!!)

then decided to go to lunch since we'd been there so long and were hungry:)

love her!!!

 yummy food at Taverna ...

Jordan showing his excitement for surgery. He really loves it.

OK, so most of these pictures have been from my phone/instagram
(hence the black borders, sorry about that!) but I just
had to  share how stinkin cute this little dog of mine is:)

She makes me smile everyday!!

And then there's Zeus...he's kind of awkward;)

(PS-this is Whitney Burnett, my amazing new assistant! I love having
her around (I get lonely sometimes, haha) and she is so so talented, its
such a blessing to have her:)

and to finish that week off Jordan and I had another date-filled weekend
(trying to get em all in before baby C comes!)
We went to disc nation for Jordan to pick out a new disc
for playing disc golf:

And went to the free movie in the park that the Alamo Drafhouse
put on!! We saw the Muppets Treasure Island..haha.
Sporting my new preggo Rangers shirt :)

Ready for 3rd Trimester, can't believe its here!!

2nd Trimester Photo Shoot

At the end of 24 weeks, my friend, Taylor Lord took pictures of me again!
{The 1st Trimester photo shoot can be seen here}
For the 2nd Trimester photos I wanted to take them in Austin,
so Taylor took me to the Red Bud Isle Park.
I loved the boyish, outdoors look, and even though it was
incredibly hot, we had a blast!
I feel like Jordan & I have learned so much since the last shoot and I had
so many sentimental things/props to use:)
Here are a few of the new things:
-We found out he was a BOY!
-The newborn outfit, was his first official "newborn outfit" he got.
-The stack of books are all the pregnancy books
I am currently or will be reading before he comes!
-The Mother's Love necklace, my 1st Mother's Day gift given to me by Jordan
-The sign consists of all the names (first and middle) we were
considering before we decided on his name:
Conrad Mason

I love the way the colors turned out, she did a great job!

Can't wait for 3rd Trimester:)

Excited to know the gender, and name of our precious baby.

Thanks for stopping by:)

6 Year Anniversary @ 24 Weeks

The years are quickly going by!
July 8, 2006 we got married...

I can't believe we are having a baby this year. What a blessing we have
been looking forward to since that day!!!

We decided to celebrate this year by doing fun things in Austin over
our anniversary weekend!
We haven't had a chance to go around and do stuff so it was really fun.
Saturday we went kayaking-loved it:

Then we went shopping on SoCo (South Congress St)
for some cowboy boots for rotations for Jordan...we found a few other
things along the way;)

these items were from a vintage shop & totally random, haha!

Yay! His 1st pair of boots, and super comfy for being on his
feet all day in the hospital.
lookin good....(this was taken after his first day on surgery)

Going out for our anniversary dinner, (we went out Saturday night since
he had to work Monday morning) Jordan surprised me
with this super romantic restaurant!

Inside the restaurant:

yummy yummy food!!

Outside when we were leaving, and stuffed!

Sunday, our actual anniversary, we just chilled at home;)
24 weeks!!

Sunday night I made bumble-berry cobbler, we had some italian food and
sparkling cider while we watched a movie;)

I'm so blessed to be married to this man, a man I've known over
15 years. We are beyond best friends, and I admire & respect him so much.
The past year of our marriage was the hardest one we have ever gone through,
and we are overwhelmingly blessed to start this new year together as parents
and start this new chapter of our relationship.

_________________________________________________

Earlier that week, was July 4th. I didn't want to do a separate post for that,
so I just wanted to tag it on here;)

We laid low for July 4th. Jordan is in his surgery rotation,
so he has to go to bed at 8:30 every night and gets up about 4:00am.
That being said, we decided to go to our friends, the Lord's house
for dinner, and then we went home to bed! No fireworks this year!

I don't know why we were all passing around this gun taking pictures.
lol.
there it is again! haha.
Josh was our grill man for the night.
They were great hostesses at their cute house!

Oh ya, Zeus got to quit wearing his cone this week!!
He was happy to throw it away;)
He was also happy to finally get groomed. haha. He's so cute.

Oh ya, and:

24 WEEKS:
Photos of the belly
(and Jordan..)

3rd Trimester is almost here!!!
